Can you change your accent from South African to American?
Is it easy to change your accent from South African to American? I've realized South African accents sound British, but slightly darker. I just want to know because I want to go to America when i'm older. Also, would a South African accent sound cool in America? Or would it be better to try to change it over time?
I agree that you shouldn't try to change. I'm puzzled that anyone should think a South African accent sounds like a New Zealand accent.
